Privacy Policy

CaptureAction (“the app”) is developed by Nguyen Duy Nam. This policy says what leaves your iPhone, when, and why.

No account needed

You can use the app without signing in. Your photos, recognized text and actions then stay on your device.

If you sign in with Apple

• Apple’s anonymous user identifier (we don’t request your name or email).
• An app installation ID, a push notification token (if you allow notifications), language, time zone and app version.
• The actions, notes, checklists, reminders and collections you confirmed, so they sync.
• Family spaces, members, invites and shared actions, if you use family sharing.

Cloud AI analysis (optional)

Off by default. Only when you turn it on and choose to analyze a photo, that photo and its recognized text are sent to our server on Cloudflare and processed with Cloudflare Workers AI through a private AI Gateway with logging and caching off. The photo is deleted after 24 hours unless you turn on “keep originals”. Recognized text is deleted when the analysis finishes unless you turn on storing text for search; AI suggestions are deleted after 7 days (actions you saved are kept separately). Turning off “keep originals” deletes the originals already kept. Your content is not used to train models.

No tracking

No ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, no sale of data.

Processors

Cloudflare, Inc. (servers, database, storage, Workers AI) and Apple (sign-in, push notifications, payments if any).

Your choices

In the app › Settings you can export all your data, turn each permission off, and delete your account. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers and revokes Sign in with Apple.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13.
